#1 Women understand men about as well as men understand women
Women are not all that mysterious. Yes there is a difference between men and women but, past all of that, we are all just people. You will find that women generally have similar motivators behind their decisions, actions, and emotional experiences to men.
#2 Women love a good listener
Whether it is the topic of shoes, her mother, the colour of the curtains, or world peace women like to know that they are heard. Sometimes, yes, the conversations will not be your cup of tea, but she is telling you because she wants to talk about it with you. There is (almost) always a reason behind why – you just have to listen, because you love her, until you understand what that reason is.
#3 Logic versus emotion
In general women have a higher emotional sensitivity while men prefer to work with logic and reason. This is not to say that women think illogically, or that men are cold. It is just a matter of different ways of thinking. Men often notice that listening to her emotional process is all she needs to work out the problem she is troubled over.
#4 Problem solving
On the topic of how men and women tend to think differently, women often have a very different problem solving techniques. While men tend to be inclined to step back and approach a problem with logic and then immediately fix that problem, women often need to work through emotions attached to that problem. Working through the emotions often leads to clarity and, usually, an easy solution.

Kindness and gentleness is often exactly what a woman needs, to know that you love her. Gifts, elaborate dates, and amazing moves in the bedroom are generally appreciated – but a little bit of your time and support will do wonders.

While it may be more difficult for men to engage with their emotions, sharing what is going on in your head allows her to feel closer to you and enlightens her on how she can care for and support you. While men tend to become competitive, there is no place for competition when it comes to your lady’s success. Let go of any insecurity you may feel if she happens to be achieving well, or even doing a bit better than you are, because your support and affirmation is invaluable to her self-esteem.

Whether it is her body, her intelligence, her abilities, or how you feel about her, learning where the sore spots are, how to deal with them, and how to help her curb her insecurities will make for a much happier relationship.
